The new tax season is right around the corner. If you are an existing tax client, you will be receiving in the mail, a list of documents you need to bring to your tax appointment.

Several financial institutions no longer mail documents. You will need to access your accounts online to get 1099-R, reports for Uber and Lyft, etc. Your mortgage statement will probably come with your January or February statement so look for additional pages there.
The Internal Revenue Service opens January 24 for tax filing.
